Ok we decided we had heard enough great stuff about Moab
and we just need to go see for ourselves. Shawn and Christi
decided to go with us. They wanted to camp, I wanted to laugh!
So they camped about 10 or 15 minutes from the Inn we stayed at.
All in all we had a fantastic time and cannot wait to go again.
Learned some things though. Never camp down there in summer!
Stay a little closer to Moab. Although we liked our little Inn.
It was about 20 minutes from town and that was a pain at times.
It was absolutely beautiful and we had the greatest time.
I cannot believe that Cory nor I had ever been there.
I took over 100 photos, so consider yourselves lucky!
It could have been so much longer.
We are going back in October!
I will try not to take to many photo's.

Here we are, our first trip to Moab!

Em and Drew being lazy at the Inn.

We had most of the basement of the Inn.
Not the best decor, but very friendly,
and for the price we paid it was worth it!

Our little Inn had a family room off both of the bedrooms!
With a lot of kitchen stuff in it as well and yummy breakfast every morning!

Cory and I before getting on the raft.
Rafting was so much fun that we came home
and went to Cabella's and bought some kayak's .
Before I got to get in the raft, I was told, by my very protective husband,
"all you do is sit next to Abby and make sure she doesn't
fall in." He wouldn't even let me hold a paddle.
Not having arms that work bites!

Ready, set and here we go.
They don't look that ready do they?

Cory and Drew skipping rocks.
It is seriously one of Cory's favorite things to do.
I like watching, much more fun, doesn't kill my arms!

Lucas learning to skip rocks.
How could he miss with a stance like that?

Here are a few of us waiting for the rafting guys
to come and get us.

Fantastic photo of Drew, Em and I.
Not quite sure what Emma is doing with her hip,
but we all enjoyed making fun of her for it!

Shawn, Christi and their kids.
Helmets off might have been a good idea.

I LOVE this picture of Cory.
Yep, that is my man!

This photo says a lot about our family!
Abby actually is a beautiful little girl,
but with her Dad and Grandfather and uncles
who teach her how to smile for photos
we might never remember how pretty she was at this age.

Great shot of Drew! He's grown up so much this past year.
I look back at the wedding photo's and cannot believe it's the same kid!

Love this of Lucas, I think Emma took it.
She's really quite good.

For those of you who know Lucas, you know he has no butt!
I mean really none, whatsoever.
So while going to pose for this picture with his Dad
he was told to pull up his pants,
and you can see he was pulling and posing all at the same time!
It was fantastic!

Scary looking group huh?
You wouldn't want to pull up next to us.
Not for the reasons you would think,
or maybe they are the reasons you would think.
(kind of the, oh wow, they don't look like they know
what in the heck they're doing!)

That's Abby under there, with her Daddy behind her.

Riding up was fun. Lucas was with Drew and Emma.
Abby with Shawn and Christi.
Then Cory and I had the smaller 4 wheeler and we did great!
One of the best vacations ever!

I took this picture of the group on one of the bridges!
So beautiful, the family looked ok too!

Cory acting like he's going to fall off,
and of course you can see that he's not even close.
In his defense it looks so much closer and so much scarier!

Shawn took this shot of us so you can see
both Bridges, hence the name Gemini Bridges!

Emma jumped up on Drew's back and it was so cute!

Then Cory and I had to do it! Peer pressure.

Shawn, Christi and the kids on one of the cliffs of the Bridges.
You get a feel for how far down this is.

Here's the 4 of us at Gemini Bridges!
It's about a 400 foot drop right under us,
( I know it doesn't look scary, but it was)
Really one of the most beautiful rides we've ever been on.
An hour and a half to get up there,
but totally worth it!

Here we all are holding up this massive rock!
(Abby and Lucas thought I was insane making them do this.)

Cory thinks he's so funny!
Sometimes he actually is.

You could take a thousand pictures of the Arches.
This shouldn't be one of them.

Here are Cory and I and Drew and Em
in front of Balancing Rock.

After seeing Balancing Rock a few of us felt
compelled to do our own. Her is Shawn's.

This is Lucas making his Balancing rock.
I swear a train could have been 6" behind him
going 100 mph and he wouldn't have even moved.
This kid can focus like no other!

Here is Cory' version, on Drew's head!

Em and Drew, I love it!

Cory trying hard to look like the rock behind him.
I'm not sure what to say, without getting in trouble.

Drew trying hard, and doing a very good job
of looking like this rock!

Here's my sweet hubby doing one of his mad skills
that make me love him so much!

Emma has a knack of getting fantastic shots of the kids.
Here's Abby looking like her Dad!

Here's her great shot of Lucas.

Emma's post card shot at Arches.
This is her and the photo was her idea.
I just wish the people on the left were not in the shot.
It's still great and I love it!
